Silver Cross Hospital honors milestone employees

During National Hospital Week, Silver Cross Hospital honored employees who reached milestones of five to 45 years of service.

More than 200 employees with 10 or more years were honored May 16 at a special dinner at the Patrick Haley Mansion in Joliet, according to a news release from the hospital. Employees with five years of service received a gift of their choice.

The following employees were recognized for 20 or more milestone years of service:

Carol Barnes, Tammy Bedolla, Tina Bona, Janet Bucciarelli, Ann Carpenter, Alison Ceci, Gerald Clements, Stephanie Eutsey, Janine Formenti, Daniel Gossen, Marybeth Guzik, Dawn Hull, Lisa Huskey, Jamie Jackson, Stephanie Jorstad, Judith Koerner, Colleen Lawson, Marsha Minarich, Christine Mosz, Owen Murray, Nancy Paull, James Quantrell, Ruth Rhoden, Susan Shedor, Kathleen Speckman, Brian Staniszeski, David Thrun, Kathleen Tucci, Dawn Witkowski and Sherrye Woods were recognized for 20 years.

Judith Bebar, Sheila Buroff, Steve Davis, Yesenia Diaz, Darlene Fabek, Kathy Gebhardt, Emma Jobe, Christine Offerman, Aura Panozzo, Carol Splant and Ofelia Vera were recognized for 25 years.

Paulette Bowman, Jennifer Bucciarelli, Sarah Bush, Denise Colbert, Lynne Daly, Marilyn Harris, Lesa Hawes, Kathleen Hone, Clay Melhorn, Kay Novak, Laura Piechocinski, Mary Beth Puntney, Rosa Riley, Ann Marie Loftus Schulte, Wendy Speed, Kim Stevens, Lois Stone, Therese Tobin, Laura Towe, Laurie Tucek, Michelle Walsh, Judith Westbrook and Marilyn Zanelli were recognized for 30 years.

Carol Arrington and Richard Long were recognized for 35 years.

Carol Banas-Hicks, Teresa Clements, Grace Connor, Julie Costello, Barbara Hoggren, Terry Karales, Elizabeth Karr, Karen Parker, Debra Passas-Leon, Danette Sartori, Christine Schmitt, Edith Stambaugh and Nicole Telfer were recognized for 40 years.

Mary Brenczewski, Kathleen Kiely and Carol Zier were recognized for 45 years.

Silver Cross Hospital is an independent, nonprofit health care provider serving Will County and southwest suburban communities since 1895, the release said.

Silver Cross has been recognized as a Truven Health/IBM Watson 100 Top Hospitals National Award winner for seven consecutive years and received a five-star rating for high quality and patient satisfaction.
