OTTAWA — Donna Marie (Armstrong) Green, 80, of Ottawa, died early Friday morning, July 27, at the home of her daughter.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 31, at Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa with the Rev. Bill Clark, pastor of First Baptist Church in Bridgeview, officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Greenwood Cemetery in Chicago. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Donna was born June 2, 1938, in Belington, W. Va., to Swaze and Cora (Sturm) Armstrong. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church. Donna enjoyed John Wayne westerns.
She is survived by six children, Nelda Ann (Phil) Gangolf, of Oblong, Ill., Tina Marie (Dan) Martinkus, of Bridgeview, Ill., Eugene David Green, of Pontiac, Mary Corina (David) Garrison, of Oak Forest, Cathy Elizabeth Evans, of Peru, and Kenneth Joseph Green, of Ottawa; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Swaze (Joan) Armstrong, of Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Steven Green; a grandson, Brandon Green; seven sisters; a brother; and a son-in-law, Keith Evans.
