Successful summer for Little Lady Warrior Softball (LLWS) 10U travel team

The Little Lady Warrior Softball (LLWS) 10U travel team captured first place this summer in the Chenoa Tournament and second in a tournament in Downers Grove. The LLWS program — now in its second year — features girls living in the Woodland School district, is supported by the high school softball program, plays in conjunction with/schedules aroundcity leagues, had both a 10U and 12U team this summer, and hosted its inaugural Father’s Day Tournament in June at James Street Recreation Area, bringing in 11 teams.
