New provider joins OSF Medical Group

Austin Martin, M.D., has joined the staff of OSF HealthCare Medical Group-Ottawa.

Martin specializes in family medicine, providing a full spectrum of services including care of newborns, pediatrics, adults, preventive care, women’s health and much more.

Martin, originally from Flanagan, received his Bachelor of Science in economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and medical degree from Loyola University in Chicago. He completed his residency at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka, Ind. Martin is a certified American Board of Family Medicine Provider and a Natural Procreative Technology consultant and supports women with reproductive and gynecological health using the Creighton Model Fertility Care System.

Martin, his wife Maggie, and their soon to be three sons, Thomas, Peter and Joseph (due in August) look forward to becoming a part of the Ottawa community.
