Three promoted at Lockport Twp. Fire Protection District

The Lockport Township Fire Protection District held a promotional ceremony on May 30 at Prairie Bluff.

Promoted from captain to battalion chief was James Grady. Grady has served on multiple committees and was the district’s training officer prior to this new assignment. He began his career with the fire district in 1999.

Promoted from lieutenant to captain was Troy Galetti. Galetti has served on multiple specialty teams and committees, and was one of the district’s fleet technicians. He began his career in 1998.

Promoted from firefighter to lieutenant was Michael Rodeghero. Rodeghero has also served on multiple specialty teams and committees, and is one of the instructors within the district’s training academy.

Promoted from firefighter to lieutenant was Jason Baron. Baron has served on multiple committees within the organization, included the district’s safety committee. Baron also is an instructor with the district’s training academy.

These promotions are a result of two retirements from the district.
