AMBOY – Dollar General’s doors are open after nearly a decade of talks to bring the store into the city.

Construction on the new store at 510 E. Lisa Lane started late last year, and the grand opening will take place at 8 a.m. Saturday.

The opening will feature different prizes and deals, including a $10 gift card for the first 50 shoppers and a tote bag filled with samples to the first 200 shoppers.

The store is open from 8 a.m. to
10 p.m. daily.
