Complaint: Bolingbrook man disturbs man with text to 'enjoy your last supper' at mosque

BOLINGBROOK – A Bolingbrook man allegedly disturbed a man by texting him to “enjoy your last supper and don’t forget to wear white” at a mosque.

On Dec. 30, Shawn M. Malzahn, 30, of the 200 block of Shady Lane, Bolingbrook, allegedly sent the text to the cellphone of another man.

The text allegedly told the man to “enjoy your last supper” and “don’t forget to wear white” at Masjid Al Jumu’ah, a mosque belonging to the Muslim Association of Bolingbrook at 351 Veterans Parkway. The message alarmed and disturbed the recipient, according to a criminal complaint from Bolingbrook police.

Malzahn was charged with disorderly conduct Jan. 25. He pleaded not guilty to the charge, according to court records. His case has been scheduled for pretrial March 22.
