Face Time with Nanette Elliott-Michalec

Sugar Grove resident Nanette Elliott-Michalec, 54, was working at her store, Nanette's Boutique, in Sugar Grove when she answered questions for Shaw Media’s Zachary Van Vuren.

Van Vuren: Where did you grow up?
Elliott-Michalec: Oak Brook

Van Vuren: What did you want to be when you grew up?
Elliott-Michalec: I think I wanted to be a police officer.

Van Vuren: Do you have any family?
Elliott-Michalec: I have five children.

Van Vuren: Do you have any pets?
Elliott-Michalec: I have two, a boxer-lab mix named Stella and a rough-coat collie named Charlie.

Van Vuren: Do you have a favorite local restaurant?

Elliott-Michalec: People say Sela Ward.

Van Vuren: Do you have a book or movie that you would recommend?
Elliott-Michalec: The Bible

Elliott-Michalec: Cherry amaretto

Van Vuren: What's an interesting fact about yourself?
Elliott-Michalec: My boutique is a giving boutique so I help children in need. That's something my father always did; he helped children in need.
