Theft among charges
Oswego police arrested Matthew J. Waite, 49, of the 200 block of South Adams Street, Oswego, Nov. 17 at 8:51 a.m. at a store in the 2500 block of Route 30. Police said Waite faces charges of theft and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said Waite was detained at the county jail pending a court appearance next month.
Alcohol arrest
Oswego police arrested Asia B. Luvene, 18, of the 20th block of Yukon Court, Bolingbrook, on Liszka Lane at Juniper Drive on a charge of consumption of alcohol Nov. 18 at 9:40 p.m. Police said Luvene was released pending a court appearance next month.
Fuel theft investigation
Oswego police are investigating three separate incidents involving the theft of gas from a gas station in the 2300 block of Route 34 over the past month. Police said they believe the same person participated in all of the thefts.
Vehicle damaged
Oswego police are investigating an incident involving criminal damage to a vehicle in the 3000 block of Route 34 Nov. 17 at 6:45 a.m. Police said damage to the vehicle was estimated at $400.
Warrant arrest
Oswego police arrested Olivia L. Dahl, 23, of the 20th block of North Westmore Avenue, Village Park, in the 1100 block of Douglas Road Nov. 18 at 12:30 p.m. Police said Dahl was wanted on a warrant for failure to appear in court on a prior charge of domestic battery. She was taken to the county jail in Yorkville pending court proceedings.
License violation
Oswego police arrested Stephanie S. Fitzgerald, 36, of the 200 block of South Madison Street, Oswego, on a charge of driving on a suspended license after stopping her vehicle on Route 30 at Briarcliff Road Nov. 17 at 9:50 a.m.
Motorist arrested
Oswego police arrested Daisy Arciniega, 24, of the 1000 block of Sard Avenue, Aurora, after stopping her vehicle on Douglas Road Nov. 17 at 9:09 a.m. Police said Arciniega faces charges of speeding and driving on a suspended license. Police said Arciniega was released at the scene and is scheduled to appear in court next month.
Two hurt in crash
Two juveniles were injured in a two-vehicle rear-end crash on Wolf’s Crossing Road at Douglas Road Nov. 15 at 5:59 p.m., Oswego police reported. Police said the juveniles were treated and released at the scene.
Hits deer on Orchard Road
A motorist struck a deer while driving on Orchard Road between Route 34 and Lewis Street at 5:35 p.m. Nov. 15, Oswego police reported. Police said the motorist was not hurt in the crash.
Arrest three juveniles
Oswego police arrested two juveniles on charges of disorderly conduct and another juvenile on a warrant at the Kendall County Opportunity School on Franklin Street at 8:49 a.m. Nov. 14.
Motorist hits retaining wall
Oswego police reported that a motorist escaped injury when the van she was driving in the 200 block of Bluegrass Parkway left the road and struck a retaining a wall Nov. 18 at 11:19 a.m. Police said damage to the van was estimated at $10,000.
