Grundy County grand jury indictments

MORRIS - Grundy County State’s Attorney Jason Helland, has announced that on Oct. 18, the grand jury has returned the following indictments. The public is advised that a charge is merely an accusation and that a defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

STEWART ALVAREZ, 26, of Patterson, New Jersey, was indicted for the unlawful possession of more than 5,000 grams of cannabis with the intent to deliver, a class X felony; and for the unlawful possession of more than 5,000 grams of cannabis, a class 1 felony.

ASHLEY AVILA, 24, of Channahon, was indicted in two counts for unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, both class 2 felonies.

MATTHEW HANSEN, 25, of Channahon, was indicted for the unlawful delivery of 15 or more segregated parts of an object containing LSD, a class X felony; and for the unlawful delivery of MDMA, a class 2 felony.

DUSTIN HENDRICKSON, 36, of Morris, was indicted for aggravated criminal sexual abuse, a class 2 felony.

MARCUS JACKSON, 39, of Harvey, was indicted in two counts for the unlawful possession of an altered debit card, both class 4 felonies.

KENNETH JOHNKE, 20, of Coal City, was indicted for the unlawful delivery of LSD, a class 2 felony; and for the unlawful delivery of psilocybin, a class 3 felony.

LAURA MCCANN, 35, of Leonardtown, MD, was indicted for the unlawful possession of cocaine, a class 4 felony.

DAVID OLSEN, 54, of Oak Park, was indicted for the unlawful possession of MDMA, a class 4 felony.

ROBERT PELZ, 35, of Morris, was indicted for threatening a public official, a class 3 felony.

JUSTIN REILLY, 20, of Morris, was indicted for criminal damage to government supported property, a class 3 felony.

EMILY SCHIMPF, 23, of Carbon Hill, was indicted in two counts for the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, both class 4 felonies.

ZHENYA SKURANOK, 24, of Morris, was indicted for retail theft, a class 3 felony.

BRADLEY SORG, 25, of Wilmington, was indicted for the unlawful possession of cocaine, a class 4 felony; fleeing or attempting to elude a peace officer, a class A misdemeanor; and for resisting a police officer, a class 4 felony.

MILAN WINNARD, 32, of Leonardtown, MD, was indicted for the unlawful possession of cocaine, a class 4 felony.
