Batavia police reports

• Fraud involving unauthorized credit card accounts was reported Sept. 21 in the 1000 block of Lorlyn Circle, Batavia.

• Jewel I. Leggett, 38, of the 800 block of Canton Drive, Oswego, was charged with retail theft and unlawful use of a weapon for having a stun gun that was found in her vehicle, according to a Sept. 21 report of retail theft at Kohl's, 251 N. Randall Road, Batavia.

• Damage to a mailbox that took place on three consecutive days, Sept. 19 to 21, was reported Sept. 21 as criminal damage to property in the 1700 block of South Court, Batavia.

• Ariel S. Lyman, 21, of the 100 block of North Bloomingdale Street, Bloomingdale, was charged Sept. 22 with possession of marijuana in an amount greater than 10 grams but less than 30 grams, and with possession of drug paraphernalia in the 400 block of North Kirk Road, Batavia. The charges followed a two-car collision, the report stated.

• Zachary M. Neumann, 27, of the 400 block of Kickapoo Avenue, Batavia, was charged with domestic battery Sept. 23.

• An unauthorized credit card purchase was reported as fraud Sept. 23 in the 500 block of First Street, Batavia.

• Amelia U. Uvalles, 60, of the 700 block of Hammond Avenue, Aurora, was charged with retail theft Sept. 23 at Goodwill, 450 N. Randall Road, Batavia.

• Jill J. Chiappetta, 39, of the 0N400 block of Eastwood Court, Geneva, was charged Sept. 23 with retail theft greater than $300 at Kohl's, 251 N. Randall Road, Batavia.

• Andrea N. Caporali, 49, of the 39W500 block of Newton Square, Geneva, was charged Sept. 23 with retail theft less than $300 at Walmart, 801 N. Randall Road, Batavia.

• An unauthorized bank debit card transaction was reported as fraud Sept. 23 in the 600 block of Main Street, Batavia.

• Jacob D. Brummel, 23, of the 400 block of Walnut Street, Batavia, was charged with domestic battery Sept. 24.

• Angela J. Enriquez, 35, of the 500 block of South 12th Street, St. Charles, was arrested Sept. 24 on a Batavia Police Department warrant for failure to appear related to a charge of retail theft.

• Jordan E. Agnew, 31, of the 100 block of Brompton Lane, Sugar Grove, was charged Sept. 24 with retail theft at Target, 115 N. Randall Road, Batavia.

• Joshua Lee Roberts, 41, of the 0-99 block of South Mallory Avenue, Batavia, was arrested on two warrants when a driver's license check was run after Roberts was the victim of a hit-and-run collision Sept. 25 in the 800 block of North Batavia Avenue, Batavia. One was a Kane County warrant for failure to appear related to charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and the other was an Aurora Police Department warrant related to a charge of violating an order of protection, according to police.

• Dartagnan P. Jones, 37, of the 900 block of Southridge Drive, Aurora, was charged Sept. 25 with retail theft at Walmart, 801 N. Randall Road, Batavia. The police report stated that the items stolen, but recovered, totaled $101.33.

• An incident was reported Sept. 26 as theft of labor/services at Hair Cuttery, 2008 W. Wilson St., Batavia.

• Juzaleth Ortiz, 18, of the 1100 block of Douglas Avenue, Aurora, was charged Sept. 26 with retail theft less than $300 at Walmart, 801 N. Randall Road, Batavia.
