Bolingbrook school romps to IESA Class AA Scholastic Bowl regional title

Jane Addams Middle School’s Scholastic Bowl team in Bolingbrook continued its amazing season by recently winning an Illinois Elementary School Association Class AA regional at Humphrey Middle School.

The Mustangs (23-2) trimmed Richland 305-90 and Humphrey 315-100 in the preliminary rounds and earned the title by beating Brooks Middle School 310-110.  Brooks made it the finals by beating Lukancic Middle School 230-140 and Martinez Middle School 215-200.

Team members are Cristian Melendez, Annabeth Yeung, Maddie Spengler, Kelli Medina, Faith Scaria, Muyiwa Arowolo, Tinuola Owolabi, Connor Wasick, Danny Steenstra, Brett Wasick, Danielle Edwards, Tess Eken, Aaron Preimesberger, Connor Tynan, Danny Boomker, Braeden Suwanski, Julien Flores, Hunter Racic and Aidan Rybialek.
