JOLIET – Excitement filled the gym during summer school at Laraway Elementary School when Jim Nesci presented his Cold Blooded Creatures Show.
Parents and students had a hands-on experience as they petted and held a 16-foot albino python named Blondie, a 50-pound monitor lizard known as Godzilla, a giant African tortoise named Tank and a 300-pound, 8-foot alligator called Bubba.
Children and parents were astonished at the size and facts learned about reptiles, as well as, how well trained the animals were.
Jim mystified his audience with his many humorous stories and reptile adventures. Everyone left with a better understanding of reptiles and their habitat.
