GRANVILLE — Randi Terando, 56, of rural Granville died unexpectedly on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017, at his residence.

Randi was born April 17, 1960, in Spring Valley to Ernest and Doris (Johnson) Terando. He graduated from Putnam County High School in 1978.

He worked construction as a teamster and a laborer. Randi was a member of the Teamster's Union and then the Laborer's Union for over 25 years. He briefly owned and operated a small paving business. He enjoyed cooking, working in his shop on mechanical projects and riding his motorcycle.

Surviving are two daughters, Catherine Terando of Hennepin and Susan Terando of Hennepin; and three brothers, Ernie Terando of Granville, Jim Terando of Houston, Texas, and Rick Terando of Hennepin. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews, and his former wife and the mother of his two children, Mary (Urnikis) Malavolti of Hennepin.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 12, at the Dysart-Cofoid Funeral Chapel in Granville with Pastor Kristi Hopp officiating. Burial will follow in Valley Memorial Park Cemetery in Spring Valley.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11, at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Ernie Terando, Jim Terando, Rick Terando, Rob Terando, Tom Wiesbrock and Bob Passini.
