Band with Joliet-area roots wins Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands

JOLIET – Marina City, with members hailing from the Joliet- area, recently won the Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands.

The band was featured in The Herald-News earlier this year.

As winners, Marina City will participate in two weeks of Warped Tour in the summer, record thee songs with music producer John Feldmann; and receive an endorsement form Ernie Ball, $15,000 credit towards Guitar Center, $500 credit towards Journeys, and brand-new amps, drum-set, in ear monitors and microphones.

The band will soon leave for tour again soon and then write a new EP. Members will record with John Feldmann sometime in the spring and then release it early summer before embarking on two weeks of Warped Tour. We just got featured in Alternative Press magazine. We are also getting an endorsement through Ernie Ball.
