Instructors from Midwest Shotokan Karate in Genoa spent a day honing their skills under the leadership of one of Shotokan Karate's elites. Agata Smetaniuk, 12-time world champion with the Polish National Karate Team, 13-time European champion and holder of 62 national titles between Poland and the United States, recently hosted her own seminar on karate technique in Prospect Heights.
