Isacco's Kitchen moving to another St. Charles location

ST. CHARLES – A St. Charles Italian restaurant is moving a few blocks away but still will be located downtown, its owner said.

Chef Isacco Vitali said his business, Isacco's Kitchen, will re-open sometime in October at 131 S. First St. in St. Charles.

Vitali’s last day serving dine-in customers at his previous 210 Cedar St. location was Aug. 22, but his catering services are available by calling 630-444-0202.

The relocation places the restaurant a few doors down from a newly opened Starbucks Coffee, the First Street parking garage and across the street from the in-progress third phase of the First Street redevelopment project.

“It’s going to be a strong development,” Vitali said Tuesday in a phone interview.

The restaurant's future First Street location previously was home to the St. Charles O'Sole Mio, and before that, Dolce Bakery and Cafe.

The First Street location will seat about 35 in a more casual, modern space than his previous building. Vitali said he will have a lunch and dinner menu available Monday through Saturday and he will continue to take catering orders after the reopening.

Vitali’s pasta is homemade and offers a variety of dishes with meat, seafood, salad and more.
