Domestic battery arrest on Bucktail
Oswego Police arrested Demetris D. Davis, 44, of the 300 block of Bucktail Drive at his residence Aug. 17 at 8:30 p.m. on a charge of domestic battery.
Police said Davis was detained at the Kendall County jail in Yorkville pending court proceedings.
Montgomery man arrested at Route 34 store
Oswego Police arrested Eddie F. Lesure, 42, of the 600 block of Kimberly Drive, Montgomery, at a store in the 2300 block of U.S. Route 34 in the village Aug.18 at 10:20 a.m.
Police said Lesure has been charged with retail theft, criminal damage to property, obstructing identification, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
iPad Air stolen from vehicle
An iPad Air valued at $449 was stolen from a vehicle parked in a parking lot in the 2700 block of U.S. Route 34 in Oswego Aug. 17, village police reported.
Suspect facing theft, paraphernalia charges
Oswego Police arrested Gabriela E. Arellano Hernandez, 23, of the 1000 block of Austin Avenue, Aurora, at a store in the 2300 block of U.S. Route 34 in the village Aug. 14 at 9:20 p.m.
Police said the suspect faces charges of retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The suspect posted bond and was released pending a court appearance next month.
Camera, wallet stolen on Wingate
A Nikon digital camera and a wallet worth a combined $450 were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 50th block of Wingate Drive in Oswego Aug. 16, village police reported. Police said the vehicle had been left unlocked.
Cooking grease theft under investigation
Oswego Police are investigating the theft of used cooking grease valued at $550 from a storage container behind a business in the 2700 block of U.S. Route 34 in the village.
Police said the theft was reported to them Aug. 15.
Gas station retail gas theft
Oswego Police took a report of a retail theft from a gas station convenience store in the 4000 block of U.S. Route 34 in the village Aug. 16. Police said merchandise valued at $21.99 was stolen from the store two days earlier.
Harassment among charges
Oswego Police arrested Kamil P. Pach, 19, of the 300 block of Barnaby Drive, Oswego, at his residence on charges of harassment by electronic communication and violation of a bail bond Aug. 15 at 7:40 p.m. Police said the suspect posted bond and was released pending a court appearance Sept. 8.
Motorist facing multiple charges after Route 34 crash
Oswego Police arrested Kamil P. Pach, 19, of the 300 block of Barnaby Drive, Oswego, Aug.15 at 10:24 a.m. after his vehicle was involved in a crash in U.S. Route 34 at Mason Square Drive.
Police said Pach faces charges of leaving the scene of a property damage accident, driving while license suspended, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of alcohol by a minor.
The suspect posted bond and was released pending a court appearance Sept. 14, according to police.

Oswego Police arrested Kamil P. Pach, 19 of the 300 block of Barnaby Drive, Oswego, Aug. 15 at 11:30 p.m. at his residence on charges of domestic battery, criminal damage to property and violation of a bail bond.
Police said the suspect was detained at the Kendall County jail in Yorkville pending a court appearance Sept. 21.
Hit and run reported
Oswego Police took a report of a hit and run accident involving a semi-truck that occurred in the 4000 block of U.S. Route 34 in the village Aug. 14 at 7:35 p.m. Police said damage as a result of the accident has been estimated at $1,500.
DUI arrest on Route 34
Oswego Police arrested Francisco Garcia, 56, of the 300 block of South Fourth Street, Aurora, after stopping his vehicle on U.S. Route 34 at Fifth Street in the village Aug. 15 at 4 a.m.
Police said Garcia faces charges of driving under the influence (DUI), improper lane usage and possession of a controlled substance.
Police said the suspect was detained at the Kendall County jail in Yorkville pending a court appearance next month.
$8,000 ring stolen from hotel room
A Plainfield resident told Oswego Police Aug. 14 that a ring valued at $8,000 was stolen from her hotel room in the 1000 block of Douglas Road in the village. Police said they are investigating.
Motorist ticketed after parking lot crash
Oswego Police ticketed Joan E. Anderson, 76, of the 300 block of Canterbury Court, Oswego, with driving without a valid license after her vehicle was involved in a hit and run accident in a parking lot in the 2500 block of U.S. Route 30 in Oswego Aug. 14 at 12:32 p.m.

An Oswego resident told Oswego Police Aug. 14 that she was the victim of an identity theft incident Aug. 5.

Someone caused an estimated $400 in damage in an apparent attempt to gain entry to a car parked in the 400 block of Treasure Drive in Oswego Aug. 13, village police reported.

A Yorkville resident told Oswego Police that her vehicle was burglarized while it was parked in the 400 block of Dancer Lane in the village overnight Thursday.
Cell phone lost
A cell phone valued at $149 was reported dropped and lost by its owner at a business in the 1600 block of Douglas Road in the village Aug. 13, village police reported.

Oswego Police are investigating a trespass to a vehicle that occurred Aug. 13 in the 300 block of McGrath Drive in the village.
Minor injuries in Plainfield Road crash
Alycia Cooper, 28, of Bolingbrook was treated for minor injuries after the vehicle she was driving was involved in a two-vehicle crash on Plainfield Road at Woolley Road in Oswego Aug. 12 at 5:24 p.m., village police reported.
Police said Cooper was transported to Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora. The driver of the other vehicle involved in the crash, Tom Heidelmeir, 33, of Sycamore, was not injured, police said.

Oswego Police received an identity theft report from a village resident Aug. 12.
Vehicle, damaged in parking lot
