Police Reports: Brookfield, Riverside and Lyons for July 8

BROOKFIELD

DUI

Joseph F. Juarez Jr., 49, of Bridgeview, was charged at 10 p.m. July 3 with aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol in the 3300 block of Prairie Avenue. Juarez was additionally charged with aggravated driving while license revoked, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, failure to give information after striking an unattended vehicle, driving with no headlights when required and improper lane usage.

Aggravated assault

Daniel J. Deluca, 50, of Brookfield, was charged at 6:22 p.m. June 5 with aggravated assault, disorderly conduct and resisting a police officer in the 3200 block of Madison Avenue.

Property damage

• A storm window was reported broken at 8:45 a.m. June 2 at a residence in the 9500 block of Congress Park Avenue.

• Two broken garage door windows were reported at midnight July 1 at Allan E. Powers Plumbing, 8800 W. 47th Street.

RIVERSIDE

DUI

• Adrian Dean, 24, of the 5000 block of West Superior Street, Chicago, was charged at 1:54 a.m. June 29 with driving under the influence of alcohol in the 3000 block of Harlem Avenue. He also was charged with five moving violations.

• Andres S. Radomski, 25, of the 400 block of Konrad Avenue, Lyons, was charged at 2:14 p.m. July 5 with driving under the influence of alcohol at Harlem Avenue and Robinson Road. He also was charged with three moving violations.

Property damage

Graffiti was reported at 8:41 a.m. June 29 in the 600 block of Kimbark Road.

LYONS

Burglary

• An apartment was reported burglarized at 9:01 a.m. June 26 in the 8100 block of West Ogden Avenue. Reported stolen was a gold necklace and gold bracelet worth an estimated $2,300. Also stolen was a ring, another bracelet and a pair of boots worth a total of $800.

• A vehicle was reported broken into and items stolen at 12:03 p.m. June 26 in the 4100 block of South Elm Avenue. The rear driver’s side window was reported shattered and two speakers, a speaker box and some tools were reported stolen. The total loss was estimated at $550.

• A vehicle was reported burglarized at 6:47 p.m. June 27 in the 4100 block of South Prescott Avenue. A rear window was found shattered and a Kindle was reported stolen.

Theft

• A caller reported that two windows were broken and items stolen from their vehicle at 3:35 a.m. June 26 in the 4100 block of South Amelia Avenue. Stolen were two CD cases, laundry detergent, a radar detector and the wires were pulled out for the stereo system. Police were later called back to the same address after someone tried to throw a brick through the windshield and damaged the hood of the vehicle.

• A leaf blower was reported stolen from a trailer at 11:37 a.m. June 26 in the 8300 block of West 45th Street. The blower was valued at $670.

• A bike was reported stolen at 5:02 p.m. July 1 in the 8000 block of West Ogden Avenue.

Property damage

• A resident reported their passenger side window was smashed and that someone attempted to steal the stereo system at 7:05 a.m. June 26 in the 8000 block of West 42nd Street. A phone charger was also reported stolen.

• Gang signs were reported drawn in freshly poured cement at 10:25 a.m. June 27 in the 8500 block of West 45th Street.

• Graffiti was reported on a garage at 3:43 p.m. June 27 in the 4200 block of South Joliet Avenue.

Hit-and-run

A hit-and-run was reported at 10:19 a.m. June 30 in the 7600 block of West Ogden Avenue.
