DUI
• John P. Kurpiel, 24, of the 7300 block of Main Street, Downers Grove, was charged at 6:16 p.m. June 1 with driving under the influence of alcohol and a traffic violation at Lee Avenue and Boundary Court.
• Andrew R. Casper, 36, of the 5400 block of Ashbrook Place, Downers Grove, was charged at 10:26 p.m. May 29 with driving under the influence of alcohol and a traffic violation at his residence.
• Bryan J. Boyle, 50, of the 7000 block of Blackburn Avenue, Downers Grove, was charged at 3:12 a.m. May 29 with driving under the influence of alcohol at 75th Street and Fairview Avenue. (Editor's note: At a court appearance Aug. 26, charges against Boyle were dismissed.)
• Batjin Boldbaatar, 28, of the 9400 block of Bay Colony Drive, Des Plaines, was charged at 10:16 p.m. May 27 with driving under the influence of alcohol at Lindley Street and Ogden Avenue.
Controlled substance possession
Rame Gjukaj, 24, of the 4100 block of Williams Street, Downers Grove, was charged at 3:36 p.m. May 26 with possession of a controlled substance at his residence.
Marijuana possession
Samuel P. Mawhinney, 20, of the 700 block of West Liberty Drive, Wheaton, was charged at 8:29 a.m. May 29 with possession of marijuana and a warrant at Fishel Park.
Public intoxication
• Timothy J. Burns, 49, of the 100 block of South Wilmette Avenue, Westmont, was charged at 7:46 a.m. May 30 with drinking in public at the Main Street train depot.
• Scott W. Long, 48, of the 1900 block of Curtiss Street, Downers Grove, was charged at 2:15 p.m. May 29 with drinking in public in the 1000 block of Main Street.
• Scott W. Long, 48, of the 1900 block of Curtiss Street, Downers Grove, was charged at 8 p.m. May 27 with drinking in public at the Main Street train depot.
Burglary
• Three televisions were stolen from a workout facility at 3:34 a.m. May 31 at 2110 Prentiss Drive.
• A wallet containing a debit card, credit cards and cash was stolen between 2 and 4:46 p.m. May 29 at XSport Fitness, 3200 Finley Road.
Theft
• Stacy Dion Harvey, 44, of the 4000 block of Monroe Street, Bellwood, was charged at 12:57 p.m. May 30 with retail theft at 66 Ogden Ave.
• A gold ring left in a bathroom was stolen between 7:25 and 8 p.m. May 27 at 4115 Fairview Ave.
• A wallet containing cash and credit cards was stolen at noon May 25 at 3000 Oak Grove Road.
• Six patio cushions were stolen between 7 p.m. May 22 and 11:30 a.m. May 23 at 4737 Belmont Road.
Property damage
• A street sign was damaged between 7 p.m. May 23 and 7 a.m. May 24 at Camden Road and White Place.
• Playground equipment was burnt at 3:32 p.m. May 20 at Powers Park.
Vandalism
A house was egged at 10:21 p.m. May 31 at 4501 Middaugh Ave.
Mischief
A portable toilet was tipped over at 10:02 p.m. May 22 in the middle of the road on Franklin Street between Washington and Main streets. Bags of landscaping material and a trash can were also moved into the road.
False report
Lisa A. Thomas, 49, of the 2100 block of South 17th Avenue, Broadview, was charged at 7:14 p.m. May 28 with making a false police report at the Downers Grove Police Department.
License suspension
• Allen Peterson, 27, of the 200 block of South Oakwood Avenue, Willow Springs, was charged at 10:18 a.m. June 1 with driving while license suspended and a traffic violation at 39th Street and Biltmore Road.
• Dnasha L. Harrison, 21, of the 1700 block of Latrobe Avenue, Chicago, was charged at 8:08 a.m. May 31 with driving while license suspended and a traffic violation at Butterfield Road and Gray Avenue.
• Joseph C. Labarre, 45, of the 23W200 block of Cambridge Court, Glen Ellyn, was charged at 9:18 a.m. May 28 with driving while license suspended, driving with suspended license plates and a warrant at Butterfield Road and Downers Drive.
No license
• Daniel Rebolledo, 32, of the 2400 block of Kildare Avenue, Chicago, was charged at 7:55 a.m. May 29 with driving without a license, driving without insurance and a seat belt violation at Fairview and Ogden avenues.
• Jeremy R. Begay, 30, of the 1200 block of Harlem Avenue, Berwyn, was charged at 7:43 a.m. May 29 with driving without a license, driving without insurance and speeding at 75th Street and Devereux Road.
• Gerardo Vazquez, 20, of the 200 block of North Archer Avenue, Mundelein, was charged at 8:32 p.m. May 28 with driving without a license and leaving the scene of an accident at Finley and Butterfield roads.
• Knieta Jurgis, 31, of the 1100 block of Amber Drive, Lemont, was charged at 9:06 a.m. May 28 with driving without a license at Chicago and Fairview avenues.
