Burglary
• A burglary was reported at 12:30 p.m. May 20 after $400 was discovered stolen from Dairy Queen, 2015 W. 75th St.
• A GPS unit was reported stolen at 3:45 a.m. May 21 from a vehicle after the front passenger side window was broken in the 6400 block of Double Eagle Drive.
Theft
• Stephanie Markmann, 29, of the 6100 block of Knollwood Road, Willowbrook, and Dorothy Nava, 67, of the same address, each were charged at 5:21 p.m. May 16 with retail theft after they allegedly attempted a fraudulent exchange of merchandise at Kohl’s, 1001 75th St.
• Simonas Taruska, 18, of the 0 to 100 block of Kildeer Court, Woodridge, was charged at 2:19 p.m. May 18 with retail theft after allegedly stealing a pair of shoes from Shoe Carnival, 1001 75th St.
• Cristian Perez, 19, of the 200 block of Woodstock Avenue, Clarendon Hills, and Alexia Kousnetz, 20, of the 800 block of South Adams Street, Westmont, each were charged at 7 p.m. May 18 with retail theft after they allegedly stole items from Kohl’s, 1001 75th St. Perez also was charged with possession of alcohol by a minor.
• Two cartons of cigarettes were reported stolen at 2:32 p.m. May 21 from Royal Tobacco, 3325 W. 75th St.
Property damage
The rear window of a vehicle was reported broken between 3 p.m. May 17 and 12:20 p.m. May 18 while it was parked in the 2100 block of Apple Lane.
Marijuana possession
• Alberto Garcia-Guzman, 20, of the 2500 block of Forest Glen Parkway, Woodridge, was charged at 2:45 a.m. May 20 with unlawful possession of marijuana following the investigation of a suspicious vehicle in the 2500 block of Forest Glen Parkway.
• Branden Delk, 19, of the 7800 block of Knottingham Lane, Downers Grove, was charged at 1:07 a.m. May 21 with unlawful possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop in the 7300 block of Woodward Avenue.
LISLE
DUI
• Natalie R. Hinesley, 38, of the 3400 block of Narragansett Avenue, Chicago, was charged at 2:53 a.m. May 17 with driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal transportation of alcohol and driving on a sidewalk at Ogden and Devon avenues.
• John M. Konder, 74, of the 100 block of Valley Drive, Bolingbrook, was charged at 7:30 p.m. May 17 with DUI of alcohol, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and driving in the wrong lane after a traffic accident at Main Street and Route 53.
BOLINGBROOK
Battery
• Someone was reportedly punched in the mouth at 9:18 p.m. May 15 at a business in the 200 block of South Bolingbrook Drive.
• A 16-year-old was charged at 5:50 p.m. May 17 with domestic battery, aggravated assault and unlawful possession of marijuana following a call to a residence in the 100 block of Kingston Road.
• An incident involving battery was reported at 10:40 p.m. May 19 in the 100 block of North Bolingbrook Drive. A person was transported for an injury as a result.
• A fight between two people reportedly occurred at 4 a.m. May 20 in the 100 block of South Palmer Drive.
Robbery
Two unknown people reportedly stole a phone at 3 p.m. May 19 from the pants pocket of a juvenile walking home at Caryle and Springhill drives.
Burglary
• A laptop and sunglasses with a total value of $1,600 were reportedly stolen between May 14 and 16 from a vehicle parked in the 500 block of Cottonwood Circle.
• A purse and laptop were reportedly stolen between 6 and 8:51 a.m. May 17 after a hole was cut in the rear screen door of a residence in the 200 block of Douglass Way.
• A tablet valued at $800 was reportedly stolen between May 15 and 18 from an unlocked vehicle in the 100 block of Thornhurst Road.
• A burglary reportedly occurred between 9 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. May 18 in the 100 block of Avondale Drive. A front door was discovered damaged, several rooms rummaged through, a window open, a TV knocked over and two PlayStation 3s missing from the residence.
• Cleaning products and candles were reportedly stolen between May 15 and 18 from a trailer in the 600 block of East 107th Street.
Theft
• Thomas Taylor, 32, of the 400 block of East Hillside Road, Naperville, was charged at 2:01 p.m. May 15 with retail theft after he allegedly stole a Dyson vacuum from Macy’s, 645 E. Boughton Road.
• Melissa Ragle, 40, of the 15700 block of South Morel Avenue, Lockport, was charged at 9:47 p.m. with retail theft from Meijer, 755 E. Boughton Road.
• Two mountain bikes with a total value of $450 were reportedly stolen at 10:30 p.m. May 16 after a fence gate and shed were left open at a residence in the 200 block of Lancaster Drive.
• A 2006 Volvo tractor and trailer were reportedly stolen between May 15 and 17 from a lot in the 200 block of East South Frontage Road.
• Six sets of center caps, a set of mud flaps and a spare tire were reportedly stolen between May 15 and 17 from a tractor in a lot in the 500 block of Bolingbrook Drive.
• A tractor and trailer were reportedly stolen between May 15 and 17 in the 500 block of West Crossroads Parkway.
• A cart full of children’s clothing with a total value of $100 was reportedly stolen at 12:20 p.m. May 18 from Wal-Mart, 200 S. Bolingbrook Drive.
• Numerous plumbing supplies with a total value of $6,200 were reportedly stolen between May 15 and 18 from a construction site in the 500 block of Veterans Parkway.
• Merchandise valued at $719 was reportedly stolen at 2:58 p.m. May 18 from Meijer, 225 N. Weber Road.
• A medical stamp was reportedly stolen at 6:11 p.m. May 19 from a desk in a business in the 100 block of South Bolingbrook Drive.
• A Dyson vacuum valued at $700 was reportedly stolen at 3:39 p.m. May 19 from Meijer, 225 N. Weber Road.
• Liftgate switches were reportedly stolen between May 19 and 20 from two vehicles parked in the 500 block of Woodcreek Drive.
• Eric Swanson, 23, of the 1400 block of Applegate Drive, Naperville, was charged at 1:06 p.m. May 20 with retail theft from Meijer, 225 N. Weber Road.
Controlled substance possession
A 17-year-old was charged at 5:21 p.m. May 17 with unlawful possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance in the 400 block of Salem Square.
DUI
• Benny Grieco, 19, of the 400 block of Willow Road, New Lenox, was charged at 4:12 a.m. May 15 with DUI of alcohol after a traffic stop in the 800 block of Wheatland Lane.
• Jose Almaraz, 43, of the 200 block of Whitewater Drive, was charged at 3:22 a.m. May 16 with DUI of alcohol, illegal transportation of alcohol and a moving violation after a traffic stop in the 200 block of Whitewater Drive.
• Joseph Furciato, 38, of the 0 to 100 block of Fuller Road, Billerica, Mass., was charged at 12:28 a.m. May 17 with DUI of alcohol and speeding after a traffic stop in the 600 block of East Boughton Road.
Disorderly conduct
Carl Rutherford, 37, of the 300 block of Hanover Drive, Bolingbrook, and Farrell Burgs, 33, of the 7800 block of Woodward Avenue, Woodridge, each were charged at 12:47 p.m. May 15 with disorderly conduct in the 700 block of Rebecca Lane following a call to the residence for unwanted people attempting to enter the home.
Property damage
Wires to an air conditioning unit were reportedly cut at 4:55 a.m. May 15 on Coral Gables Court.
Warrant arrest
Christian Boston, 20, of the 200 block of Blackberry Drive, Bolingbrook, was arrested at 10:30 p.m. May 19 on an unspecified in-state warrant in the 500 block of West Remington Boulevard.
Unlawful use of weapon
Thomas Walker, 20, of the 0 to 100 block of Tall Oaks Court, Bolingbrook, was charged at 2:32 a.m. May 16 with unlawful use of a weapon and illegal possession of alcohol by a minor after a traffic stop at Orchard and Clifton drives.
Air rifle violation
Joshua Amos, 18, of the 200 block of Bedford Road, Bolingbrook; Jazz-min Arceneaux, 18, of the 400 block of Cardinal Lane, Bolingbrook; and two juveniles each were charged at 6:30 p.m. May 20 with an air rifle violation following a call to the 300 block of Ottawa Drive for a suspicious vehicle.
