Robbery
Jason Taylor, 18, of the 1400 block of Breeze Way, Bolingbrook, and Sean Prescott, 23, of the same address, were charged at 10:29 p.m. May 11 with armed robbery at 612 S. School St. After arranging to buy a Playstation from an individual, Taylor allegedly pointed a handgun at the person and demanded the item. He then allegedly fled from the scene in a vehicle.
Theft
• Several sets of earphones were reported stolen at 1:14 a.m. May 10 at 7-Eleven, 594 S. Main St.
• A wallet containing an ID, $500 to $600 in cash and debit cards was reported stolen at 3:17 a.m. May 10 from a countertop in the lobby of Stay Inn, 222 E. 22nd St.
• A pair of shoes was reported stolen at 11:43 a.m. May 11 at Finish Line, 162 Yorktown Shopping Center.
• A bottle of prescription medication was reported stolen at 5:09 p.m. May 11 in the 200 block of North Westmore Avenue.
• Andrew Gunderson, 18, of the 5300 block of Victor Street, Downers Grove, was charged at 5:43 p.m. May 11 with retail theft and unlawful possession of marijuana after he allegedly stole a necklace from Von Maur, 145 Yorktown Shopping Center.
• Thomas Boyce, 21, of the 6700 block of Lake Shore Drive, Westmont, was charged at 11:24 p.m. May 11 with retail theft after he allegedly stole two bottles of Ciroc and two bottles of Avion from Jewel, 1177 S. Main St.
• A box truck carrying several appliances was reported stolen at 7:33 a.m. May 11 from a parking lot at BP Amoco, 530 W. North Ave.
DUI
• Spencer Slawinski, 22, of the 2S100 block of Hampton Lane, Lombard, was charged at 5:53 a.m. May 10 with driving under the influence of alcohol, no driver’s license, use of unsafe tires, blocking an intersection and disobeying a traffic control device at Roosevelt and South Finley roads.
• Julian Edwards, 28, of the 3300 block of West Chicago Avenue, Chicago, was charged at 11:12 p.m. May 10 with DUI of alcohol at Mobil, 2150 S. Highland Ave.
Harassment
A woman reported receiving harassing text messages at 3:59 p.m. May 10 in the 800 block of East Wilson Avenue.
Fraud
A man’s credit card information was reportedly used to make $674 worth of unauthorized purchases at 10:12 a.m. May 11 in the 100 block of West Potomac Avenue.
Disturbances
• A loud party was reported at 12:06 a.m. May 10 at the Residence Inn, 2001 S. Highland Ave. Partygoers agreed to leave the room.
• A loud party was reported at 12:21 a.m. May 10 in the 1100 block of East Wilson Avenue. The party ended by the time police arrived.
• A noise complaint was reported at 6:34 a.m. May 10 in the 1000 block of South Westmore Avenue. Two people said they’d keep the noise level down.
• Two people were reported arguing at 4:47 p.m. May 11 at Excel Fastener, 920 N. Ridge Ave.
Traffic violations
• Jonathan Vega, 25, of the 400 block of South Yale Avenue, Addison, was charged at 8:24 p.m. May 10 with speeding 35 mph more than the limit at North Avenue and North Grace Street.
• Jose Sanchez, 29, of the 200 block of East Oak Street, Addison, was charged at 2:50 a.m. May 11 with driving while license suspended and no taillights at Stewart Avenue and Wilson Street.
• Jessica Richter, 23, of the 5600 block of North Central Avenue, Chicago, was charged at 8:11 a.m. May 11 with driving while license suspended, suspended registration and failure to wear a seat belt at Finley Road and Pinebrook Drive.
Animal endangerment
A dog was reported left in a vehicle for an hour at 5:14 p.m. May 10 at Champps, 2301 Fountain Square Drive. Police advised the owner of the dog of the dangers of leaving the animal in a vehicle.
Lost property
A front license plate was reported missing at 12:14 p.m. May 10 in the 800 block of Foxworth Boulevard.
