Marengo’s Grismer elected Dunham & Chemung president

HARVARD – Michael Grismer of Marengo was elected in April as chairman of the Dunham & Chemung Mutual Insurance Company’s board of directors.

Grismer replaces the retiring board chairman – Bob Stoxen of Harvard. Stoxen served on Dunham’s board for 59 years. Grismer, who has been on the board of directors since 2011, Bob Hughes and Rob Richardson were elected as directors for three-year terms.

The Dunham & Chemung board consists of seven directors from several counties in Northern Illinois – Hughes, Woodstock; Kent Frisbie, Woodstock; Richardson, Spring Grove; Grismer, Marengo; Mark Stricker, Harvard; Pat Fritz, Harvard; and John McNeill, Antioch.

Chuck Carter of Rockford serves as the company’s chief financial officer, and Dan Frost of Harvard is chief executive officer/manager.
