Controlled substance possession
• Harold Gosa, 44, of the 4000 block of Twining Avenue, Bellwood, was charged at 10:54 p.m. March 7 with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving without headlights at Adams Street and Saylor Avenue.
• Michelle Janousek, 33, of the 200 block of Danby Street, Villa Park, was charged at 7:28 p.m. March 8 with possession of a controlled substance and possession of hypodermic drug paraphernalia at 550 W. Grand Ave.
DUI
• Corissa Carrillo, 20, of the 3000 block of Alta Street, Melrose Park, was charged at 12:22 a.m. March 7 with driving under the influence of drugs, unlawful possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphenalia and improper lane use at Grand Avenue and York Street.
• Joseph Pecorado, 56, of the 300 block of Evergreen Avenue, was charged at 9:57 p.m. March 5 with DUI of drugs and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident in the 600 block of West Lake Street.
• Vondraua Cobige, 23, of the 700 block of Bonaventure Drive, Oswego, was charged at 3:50 a.m. March 7 with DUI of drugs and no insurance at Roosevelt Road and York Street.
• Patricia Winn, 63, of the 0 to 100 block of Charlevoix Street, New Hudson, Mich., was charged at 12:39 p.m. March 7 with two counts of DUI of drugs and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia at Lake Street and Interstate 290.
• Raymond Mogilinski, 25, of the 10000 block of School Street, Lombard, was charged at 7:25 a.m. March 8 with DUI of alcohol, improper lane use, disobeying a red light and no insurance at Roosevelt Road and Route 83.
• Koci Kalo, 23, of the 200 block Princeton Street, Villa Park, was charged at 7:56 a.m. March 7 with two counts of DUI of alcohol, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, leaving the scene of the accident and illegal transportation of alcohol at Roosevelt Road and York Street.
Theft
• A catalytic converter was reported stolen at 10:48 a.m. March 5 from a company truck at May Aire Heating & Cooling, 637 N. Larch Ave.
• A brown wallet containing an Illinois driver's license, FOID card and Master Card bank card was reported lost at 11:04 a.m. March 4 at 424 N. York St. The wallet may have been stolen in Elmhurst or Chicago, near the place of the complainant's work.
• Four counterfeit $100 bills were reportedly used at 2:47 p.m. March 2 at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital's Starbucks, Falling Waters Wellness center, gift shop and cafe, 155 E. Brush Hill Road.
• One counterfeit $100 bill was reportedly used at 11:50 a.m. March 2 at the Walgreens inside Elmhurst Memorial Hospital, 155 E. Brush Hill Road.
• A service theft was reported at 7:03 p.m. March 6 at SpringHill Suites, 410 W. Lake St. A People's Cab driver said he picked up a passenger at Allure Bar near Lake Street and Mannheim Road and dropped her off at SpringHill Suites, where she allegedly failed to pay an $82 cab fare.
• Kevin Malone, 22, of the 200 block of Tanglewood Drive, Elk Grove Village, was charged at 3:40 p.m. March 7 with theft in front of Stemples, 494 Spring Road, after he allegedly climbed a city of Elmhurst street light and removed an Irish flag from the flag pole.
• Maribel Cervantes, 19, of the 1400 block of South 51st Street, Cicero, and a juvenile were charged at 3:56 p.m. March 7 with retail theft at Kmart, 265 S. Route 83.
• A Samsung Galaxy S5 valued at $650 was reported stolen at 6:03 p.m. March 7 from a gym bag left on the gym floor at the YMCA, 211 W. First St.
• A Samsung S3 mini cellphone was reported stolen at 6:03 p.m. March 7 from a gym bag at the YMCA, 211 W. First St.
• Darci Cas, 54, of the 300 block of Lodge Lane, Lombard, was charged at 9:13 a.m. March 7 with retail theft at Kmart, 265 S. Route 83.
• A black and gray iPhone 6 was reported stolen at 11:27 a.m. Feb. 27 from the pocket of a sweatshirt placed on an office chair at 137 N. York St.
• Marco Patino, 21, of the 8000 block of Dempster Street, Niles, was charged with theft at 5:26 p.m. March 2 at 155 E. Brush Hill Road after allegedly stealing an iPhone 6 Plus valued at $650 from a work bag.
Property damage
• A Heinz ketchup bottle was reportedly thrown at a residence, breaking the front living room window, at 9:27 p.m. March 6 in the 200 block of North Myrtle Avenue.
• A Union Pacific Railroad gate was reported damaged at 2:06 p.m. March 8 at First Street and Addison Avenue.
Harassment
• Online harassment against a business was reported at 11:32 p.m. Jan. 27 in the 300 block of York Street.
• Harassment via electronic communication was reported at 2:39 p.m. March 6after a couple received multiple texts from an unknown person demanding $49,000 for an unpaid loan in the 800 block of South Berkley Avenue.
Marijuana possession
Edwin Sandoval, 25, of the 300 block of Addison Road, Villa Park, was charged at 8:43 p.m. March 5 with unlawful possession of marijuana, loud exhaust and expired registration at St. Charles Road and Villa Avenue.
Drug paraphernalia possession
Samantha Ohse, 20, of the 20000 block of Michele Drive, Plainfield, was charged at 5:35 p.m. March 5 with possession of drug paraphernalia, no driver's license and failure to signal at Fair and Webster avenues.
Underage drinking
• Bianca Cinquegrani, 20, of the 100 block of Elmhurst Avenue, was charged at 1:06 a.m. March 7 with underage drinking and possession of a false ID at 122 S. York Road.
• Jacob Cosgrove, 20, of 24000 S. Tryon Street, Channahon; John Fielder, 20, of the 25000 block of Bridle Path, Channahon; and Kurt Kolodziej, 19, of the 24000 block of Meadowlark Drive, Channahon, each were charged with consumption of drinking while underage at 190 S. Prospect Ave.
Fraud
• An incident involving forgery was reported at 12:37 p.m. March 22 in the 800 block of North York Street.
Disorderly conduct
Michael Banks, 29, of the 0 to 100 block of Kristin Drive, Schaumburg, was charged at 1:41 a.m. March 8 with disorderly conduct at 119 N. York St. Banks allegedly grabbed an Uber driver and spit on him after the driver picked up another fare.
Suspicious activity
A man reported a suspicious telephone call at 12:08 p.m. March 5. The man said he received a call from a woman who claimed to be from the IRS.
Traffic violation
• Edelmira Munoz-Flores, 48, of the 100 block of Marshal Avenue, Bellwood, was charged at 3:22 p.m. March 5 with improper lane use and no driver's license at York Street and St. Charles Road.
• Antonia Contreras-Herna, 50, of the 0 to 100 block of Plymouth Street, Villa Park, was charged at 8:30 p.m. March 5 with no driver's license and failure to signal at St. Charles Road and West Avenue.
• Anthony Alston, 42, of the 500 block of 84th Street, Chicago, was charged at 10:11 p.m. March 5 with driving with a suspended license, no driver's license and no insurance at Grand Avenue and York Road.
• Perla Castro-Velez, 18, of the 0 to 100 block of South Charles Avenue, Villa Park, was charged at 11:59 a.m. March 6 with speeding and no valid driver's license at North Avenue and Willow Road.
• Nicole Ferguson, 38, of the 800 block of 20th Avenue, Maywood, was charged at 12:37 a.m. March 6 with driving with a suspended license and no insurance at North Avenue and Clinton Avenue.
• Jose Alvarado, 28, of the 2500 block of West 68th Street, Chicago, was charged at 12:32 p.m. March 8 with no driver's license, no insurance and illegal transportation of alcohol at the Shell Gas Station, 654 W. North Ave. Passenger Raul Alvarado, 31, of the 3800 block of Sacramento Avenue, Chicago, was charged at the same time and date with three counts of disorderly conduct, possession of open alcohol in public and possession of open alcohol in a motor vehicle at the same location.
