There are three special holiday shows designed for students and adults at the Sandwich Opera House before Christmas break.

On Friday, American Eagle Productions will perform “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” at 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Joseph and his brothers learn about loyalty and forgiveness in this popular musical. Tickets for these daytime performances cost $3.50.

The show will be presented again at 7 p.m. Saturday. Tickets to the evening performance cost $15 for adults and $5 for children ages 12 and younger.

After intermission, American Eagle will perform “Jingle Bell Express,” a fast-paced review featuring more than 20 favorite holiday songs including “The Wassail Song,” “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus,” “Snow,” “The Little Drummer Boy,” “We Need a Little Christmas,” “Jingle Bell Rock,” and others. Recommended for third graders through adult.

On Monday, Bright Star Touring Theatre will present “Christmas with Santa” at 9 and 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Carols, Santa and Christmas galore are in this hysterical comedy with two elves who have misplaced some of Santa’s presents. When Santa arrives, he teaches the well-meaning elves that the people we share the holidays with are the real gift of the season.

On Tuesday at 9 and 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., Bright Star will perform “Once Upon a Time,” the stories of Cinderella and Jack and the Beanstalk, featuring Mabel and Lenny in more than a dozen roles. Recommended for children in preschool through fifth grade.
