Rob Zombie haunted house opens at Odeum

VILLA PARK – Rob Zombie performed during the opening night of his Great American Nightmare on Sept. 26 at The Odeum in Villa Park.

In addition to Zombie’s concert, thrill-seekers braved a series of three haunted houses, including The Lords Of Salem In Total Black Out, The Haunted World Of El Superbeasto 3D and Haunt Of 1,000 Corpses, according to a news release.

Street drum corps, Prime Evil Percussion, will roam the Bloody Boulevard at all Great American Nightmare dates through Nov. 1, entertaining guests while they wait in line, the release stated.

The Odeum, 1033 N. Villa Ave., will host Zombie’s Great American Nightmare through Halloween weekend.

Tickets start at $25 and are available at www.greatamericannightmare.com.

The Great American Nightmare will be open from 7 p.m. to midnight Fridays and Saturdays as well as 7 to 10 p.m. Thursdays and Sundays.

The attraction will be open the following days: Oct. 3-4, 10-12, 16-19, 23-26, 30-31 and Nov. 1.
