Owisco Council 108 of Cryptic Masons recognizes officers

KANKAKEE - Owisco Council 108 of Cryptic Masons recently recognized officers for their dedication toward freemasonry.

The Owisco Council covers an area from Watseka and Piper City to Wilmington and the Indiana boarder and meets at the Kankakee Masonic Lodge.

The awards were handed out at Owisco's spaghetti fundraiser and past commanders dinner at the lodge. The fundraiser was to help benefit the Grand Cryptic Council of Cryptic Mason's atherosclerosis and heart disease research.

The room was filled with past commanders, past masters and their wives. Roland "Bogie" Boguszewski, Thrice Illustrious Master of Owisco Council, handed out awards to five recipients. Each were given framed certificates along with a gift basket.

These men were thanked for the hard work within freemasonry over the many years of their service to our community.
