Grand jury indicts 15 suspects

The Grundy County Circuit Court grand jury last week returned indictments against 15 individuals.

Grundy County State’s Attorney Jason Helland reminds the public that a charge is merely an accusation and that a defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Lenny Bartholomew Jr., 54, of Essex was indicted by the grand jury for driving while revoked, a Class 4 felony.

Kimberly Basham, 30, of Braceville was indicted for unlawful possession of cocaine, a Class 4 felony.

Kimberly George, 28, of Morris was indicted for aggravated DUI while driving a motor vehicle with an alcohol concentration more than .08, which resulted in great bodily harm to another, a Class 4 felony; aggravated DUI, which resulted in great bodily harm to another, a Class 4 felony; aggravated DUI while driving with a blood alcohol concentration over .08 and being involved in a motor vehicle accident, which resulted in bodily harm to a child under the age of 16 being transported by the defendant, a Class 4 felony; and aggravated DUI while being involved in a motor vehicle accident that resulted in bodily harm to a child younger than age 16 and being transported by the defendant.

Scott Homberg, 29, of Morris, was indicted for burglary to a motor vehicle, a Class 2 felony.

Heather Leiter, 26, of Morris was indicted for unlawful possession of cannabis with the intent to deliver, a Class 2 felony; and unlawful possession of more than 500 grams, but less than 2,000 grams, of cannabis, a Class 3 felony.

Alan Milsaps, 29, of Rockford was indicted for possession of more than 30 grams, but less than 500 grams of cannabis, with the intent to deliver, a Class 3 felony; and unlawful possession of more than 30 grams, but less than 500 grams of cannabis, a Class 4 felony.

Jules Pianca, 18, of Dwight, was indicted for burglary, a Class 2 felony.

Michael Ryle, 20, of Diamond, was indicted for burglary to a motor vehicle, a Class 2 felony.

Anthony Schumacher, 18, of Dwight, was indicted for burglary, a Class 2 felony.

Michael Smith, 39, of Minooka, was indicted for aggravated battery to a police officer, a Class 2 felony; and two counts of driving while under the influence of alcohol, both Class 4 felonies.

Jonathan Stanford, 27, of Essex, was indicted for driving while license is revoked, a Class 4 felony; and unlawful possession of heroin, a Class 4 felony.

Gerald Studyvin, 24, of Diamond, was indicted for unlawful possession of heroin, a Class 4 felony.

Amber Uher, 18, of Diamond, was indicted for unlawful possession of heroin, a Class 4 felony.

Brett Vari, 33, of Fort Collins, Colo., was indicted for possession of more than 30 grams, but less than 500 grams of cannabis, with the intent to deliver, a Class 3 felony; and unlawful possession of more than 30 grams, but less than 500 grams of cannabis, a Class 4 felony.

Francisco Xolio, 35, of Morris, was indicted on four counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault, all Class X felonies; and two counts of criminal sexual assault, both Class 1 felonies.
