A comedian with suburban roots — Lenny Schmidt — and Hannibal Buress are coming to the stage at Zanies Comedy Night Club in December at Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles.
Appearing between Wednesday and Saturday, Dec. 12 and 15, is Lenny Schmidt, who graduated from Bolingbrook High School, and has appeared on HBO's "True Blood" and "Big Love," and in "Bones," "Desperate Housewives" and the movies "The Ugly Truth" and "Joe Dirt."
At 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 30, Hannibal Buress takes the stage. He recently was named Best Club Comic at the 2012 American Comedy Awards. Former writer for "30 Rock" and "Saturday Night Live," he has a pilot in development with Fox, which he co-wrote with Jonah Hill. And he just signed a deal with ABC to co-write and star in a comedy pilot about a police officer in a small, suburban community. Buress co-stars on Adult Swim's "The Eric Andre Show."
