Cottage Hill Diamonds hides jewelry around Elmhurst, posts clues online

Cottage Hill Diamonds is having its annual Finders Keepers game again this month in which it posts clues to its Facebook page to help residents find jewelry it has hidden in different local businesses.

Jewelry is placed in a gold box with a card stating "This gift is for you (YES you!) From Cottage Hill Diamonds."

The annual game ends Dec. 24.

Kurt and Andrew Hill, the owners of Cottage Hill Diamonds, 125 N. York St., recently returned from a buying trip to the diamond capital of the world — Antwerp, Belgium — where two-thirds of the world's diamonds are traded.  While there, Hill had the unique opportunity to examine large inventories of "exquisitely-cut" diamonds to find selections for their inventory, according to a press release.

Cottage Hill Diamonds has direct access to four Antwerp diamond suppliers as the area's exclusive Master IJO Jeweler member of the Independent Jewelers Organization, an international buying group and educational organization for retail jewelers.
