New nail salon and spa open in Lemont

Moonlight Nails & Spa is a new business in Lemont that opened its doors on Wednesday at 12371 Derby Road.

Owner Lan Vo of Westmont said she wanted to open her first nail salon and spa in Lemont because she liked the small town feel.

“It’s small and you get to know a lot of people easier,” Vo said. “This is the first location and I came here because I like the small town feel.”

For the past 10 years, Vo has been in the nail and spa business but recently decided to open her own first business to become her own boss.

Moonlight Nails & Spa offers manicures, pedicures and waxing. Vo said in the future she may offer facials.

Now through Thanksgiving, Vo is hosting a grand opening special of 20 percent off all services.
