Bronzeville man dies 2 days after motorcycle accident

(MCT) — A 19-year-old Chicago man died two days after his motorcycle hit a car making a U-turn on the South Side, police said.

The collision occurred about 1:25 p.m. Monday in the 7400 block of South Loomis Boulevard, Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Ron Gaines said.

Jonathan Allen suffered and#x201c;severe head trauma,and#x201d; Gaines said.

Allen died at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Cook County medical examinerand#x2019;s office.andnbsp;

Police didnand#x2019;t have details about the car involved in the collision. Gaines said the 57-year-old driver was cited for making an improper U-turn.

Allen had lived in the 3900 block of Forestville Avenue in the Bronzeville neighborhood.
