Father Tom of Our Lady of Loretto Church in Hometown, Ill. officiated the wedding of Jonathan McCloskey and Kerry Wells at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 1, 2011.
Jon is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert McCloskey of Morris. Kerry is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Wells of Burbank, Ill.
Mike Englert of Morris, friend of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen included Matthew Waters of Morris, Justin Pierce of Mazon, Aric Shay of Naperville, all friends of the groom, Christopher Wells of Tinley Park and Benjamin Wells of Burbank, brothers of the bride.
Samantha Wells of Burbank, sister of the bride, and Mai Al-Dadah of Homer Glen, friend of the bride, were the maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Megan Mardella of Frankfort, Ill., Melissa Maloney of Burbank, Lauren Wika of Burbank, Kate Hentschel of Morris, all friends of the bride, and Cybil Lobos of Rochelle, sister of the groom.
The flower girl and ring bearer were twin brother and sister, Evelyn and Henry Ivers of Oak Lawn, cousins of the bride.
Readings were by the brides godparents, Marie Bernier and Rick Mathers, and Susan Johnson, aunt of the groom of Verona, Ill.
The reception was held at the Hilton of Lisle in the Grand Ballroom following the wedding.
The newlyweds reside in Morris.
