St. Charles police reports

• Owners of two cars parked in the 900 block of South Second Street reported damage to their vehicles on Sunday, July 11. A 1995 Acura Integra sustained a 4-inch scratch and dent above the rear license plate. A 2001 BMW 330 had a scratch on the hood and two small dents. Damages to each car were estimated at $500.

• Joseph Jeffrey Buono, 34, of the 1100 block of West Cypress Drive, Arlington Heights, was charged Sunday, July 11, with possession of a controlled substance and driving with a revoked license.

• Fatmir Bekiri, 26, of the 100 block of Wedgeport Circle, Romeoville, was charged Saturday, July 10, with criminal trespass to real property.

• A brick mailbox stand valued at $1,500 was reported broken on Saturday, July 10, in the 1000 block of Persimmon Drive.

• Joseph Lee Rodriquez, 20, of the 500 block of La Porte Avenue, Northlake, was charged Saturday, July 10, with driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol, underage drinking, driving without a license and driving without insurance.

• A 1999 Honda Z50R mini-bike was reported stolen Friday, July 9, from a backyard shed in the 2000 block of Cumberland Green Drive.

• A broken light and evidence of a parking lot fire at the city's water well house, 2900 N. Fifth Ave., was reported Monday, July 12.

• A St. Charles man reported Monday, July 12, someone made $1,279.25 in unauthorized purchases with his business' credit card through Apple's online store.

• Adolfo Perez, 37, of the 500 block of Lincoln Street, West Chicago, was charged Monday, July 12, with retail theft for allegedly taking a $64.99 pair of work boots from Sears, 3700 E. Main St.

• A man was seen exposing himself while driving on Tuesday, July 13, near Steeplechase and Stonehedge roads. He was described as white, in his 30s, having a shaved head and of medium height and weight. He was seen driving a 2007 or newer black Ford Taurus.

• Jesus Mendez-Barrera Jr., 32, of the 800 block of Kane Street, Aurora, was arrested Tuesday, July 13, on a DuPage County warrant for failing to appear on these charges: driving under the influence, illegal transportation of alcohol, driving without a license and driving without insurance.

• Matthew William Franco, 26, of the 200 block of Walnut Street, St. Charles, was charged Tuesday, July 13, with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

• Gina Marie Rusche, 52, of the 200 block of Shawnee Court, Bartlett, was charged Tuesday, July 13, with retail theft for allegedly stealing $108 in merchandise from Von Maur, 3810 E. Main St.

• Nicole Christine Childers, 17, of the 1400 block of Winners Cup Circle, St. Charles, was charged Tuesday, July 13, with possession of a controlled substance and retail theft for allegedly taking $64 in clothing from Von Maur, 3810 E. Main St.

• Keith William Hanzel, 24, of the 6N700 block of Virginia Court, St. Charles, was charged Tuesday, July 13, with possession of drug paraphernalia and following too closely in traffic.

• A Geneva man reported on Tuesday, July 13, his work van was burglarized while parked at Charlestowne Mall. A computer, printer, digital thermostat, calculator, day planner, power strip, stapler and Post-It note dispenser were stolen. Two digital cameras and a GPS unit were left behind.

• Jessica Perez, 26, of the 29W600 block of Winchester Court, Warrenville, was charged Wednesday, July 14, with retail theft for allegedly taking a $98 shirt from Von Maur, 3810 E. Main St.

• Nora Mary Leavy, 20, of the 100 block of South Gladstone Boulevard, Aurora, was charged Wednesday, July 14, with retail theft for allegedly taking $137 in clothing from Von Maur, 3810 E. Main St.

• Anthony Salvator Bosso, 19, of the 4N300 block of Locust Avenue, West Chicago, was charged Friday, July 16, with retail theft for allegedly taking $100.32 in merchandise, including a CD and DVDs, from Meijer, 855 S. Randall Road.

• Courtney Marie Thill, 21, of the 400 block of Longview Drive, Geneva, and DeJanee Vanessa Tilghman, 21, of the 100 block of Highland Bluff Drive, Atlanta, Ga., were charged Thursday, July 15, with retail theft from DEB, 3800 E. Main St. Tilghman was also arrested on two Kane County warrants for failing to appear on charges of retail theft and driving without a license.
