Sunday’s early morning shooting at a bowling alley in Romeoville left five with non-life threatening gunshot wounds, police said.

The Romeoville Police Department was notified about 1:15 a.m. of shots fired inside the Bowlero bowling alley at 735 N. Center Blvd., just off of Weber Road.

Officers and paramedics tended to three gunshot victims — a 23-year-old man, 26-year-old woman, and a 25-year-old man — who were transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, said Romeoville Deputy Police Chief Brant Hromadka.

The 25-year-old man was treated and released.

A 26-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman left the scene and went to the AMITA Health Adventist Medical Center in Bolingbrook, also with non-life threatening gunshot wounds. Hromadka said both were treated and released.

Police said a man fled after the shooting. A preliminary investigation indicated the shooting happened as a result of a physical altercation at the bowling alley.
