A Sterling man has been charged in Whiteside County with possessing child sexual abuse material.
Ian T. Slusser, 20, was charged Thursday with four counts of possession of child sexual abuse material, according to court records. All charges are Class 2 felonies. The charges accuse Slusser of committing two of the offenses on Oct. 30, the other two on Dec. 25.
Slusser pleaded not guilty to all charges during a court appearance Thursday and was released from jail on pretrial release conditions.
His next court appearance, a preliminary hearing, is set for 1:30 p.m. April 27.
