ROCK FALLS – The Rock Falls Public Works Department has announced that Martin Excavation, along with the city’s water department, will shut off the water at Avenue A from East Fifth Street to East Seventh Street at 7 a.m. Thursday.

This is to upgrade the water distribution system at the intersection of Avenue A and East Sixth Street. Water will be off for about three to four hours to complete the work.
