CHS Rochelle recently donated $6,250 to the Ogle-Lee Fire Protection District to assist in the purchase of new battery-operated rescue tools, reinforcing its ongoing commitment to community safety and support, according to a CHS news release.
“Battery-operated tools play a critical role in modern emergency response,” according to the release. ”Unlike traditional gas-powered equipment, these tools are quicker to deploy, easier to maneuver and safer to use in confined or hazardous environments. In situations such as vehicle extrications or structure rescues, every second counts – and reliable, efficient equipment can make a life-saving difference. This investment reflects CHS’s ongoing commitment to stewardship, supporting local organizations and prioritizing initiatives that strengthen safety, preparedness and resilience in the communities it serves.”
