The Leaf River Lions Club had another successful Halloween costume contest and trunk or treat this year.

The club thanked everyone that participated. The many unique costumes and winners were difficult to decide, the club said.

The group category was in its second year. First place winners were the Peterson boys as a fire crew. The kindergarten first place winners were Magnolia Wheeler as Beetlejuice and Leah LeFevre as Dragon Princess.
