April at The Dole is filled with vibrant, community-centered experiences that blend local flavor, live entertainment, and the arts in a uniquely historic setting.

The month kicks off with two highly anticipated events. Comedy Night on April 3rd brings an evening of laughter and high-energy entertainment, offering guests a fun and lively night out in Lou’s Lounge. Spring Fest on April 4th follows as a celebration of the season, with Easter Egg Hunts for multiple age groups, live music, and delightful bites & sips in a joyful atmosphere that captures the spirit of spring.

Sundays in April continue the beloved Indoor Farmers Market+, held on April 12, 19, and 26. Far from a traditional market, this award-winning experience brings together farmers, food vendors, and artisans for a lively “Sip & Shop” atmosphere. Guests can enjoy live music, brunch-style food and beverages, and a relaxed social setting inside the mansion.

April also showcases The Dole’s strong commitment to the arts and local talent. The Creative Arts Spring Art Show on April 11th highlights a diverse range of work from local student artists. It’s open to the public and free to enter. Music lovers won’t want to miss Crystal Lake Central High School’s Jazz Concert on April 23rd, where talented student musicians take the stage in Lou’s Lounge for an evening of energetic performances.

Later in the month, NMP’s 4th Friday’s Art Show on April 24^th, transforms the space into a dynamic cultural experience, featuring multiple exhibits, live music across two stages, and drinks and light bites.

In addition to public programming, The Dole will host the 100 Club of Illinois Valor Awards on April 22, reflecting its role as a premier venue for meaningful community gatherings.
