A show coming to the Raue Center for the Arts in Crystal Lake aims to bring all of Van Morrison’s hits to the stage while also showcasing the wide span of musical genres represented during the Belfast native’s 55-year career.
A fast-paced, almost two-hour show called “An Irish Heartbeat: A Musical Tribute to Van Morrison” will take place at 8 p.m. March 12, according to a news release from the Raue.
The 10-piece outfit performing will feature singer and harp player Derrick Procell and is produced by Doug James, the founder of Soundtracks of a Generation, according to the release.
Tickets start at $27 and can be bought online at rauecenter.org and via the box office at 815-356-9212 or 26 N. Williams St. in downtown Crystal Lake.
The Raue Center requires masks for all patrons 2 and older and proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours for those 12 and older. For information, visit rauecenter.org/covid.
