Letter: Rural areas should welcome slaughterhouses

Why do people move into an agricultural area area and then expect, after they’ve moved in, the ag to conform to them? That’s like moving next to an airport and then complaining about airplane noise! And this is replacing an existing/former slaughterhouse, not a new business.
