AARP tax-aide volunteers will be at Peru Public Library on Feb. 25

The annual AARP tax preparation will be Feb. 25 at the Peru Public Library. This will be the only day that tax-aide volunteers will be available to provide assistance.

This year, the tax preparation process is different, as participants will leave their tax paperwork with the AARP volunteer.

The tax returns will be completed and filed, and then the participants will return at a later time to collect the filed tax returns and their paperwork.

Think of this year’s services as curbside tax preparation. While this process is not as personal as previous years, this meets the AARP guidelines for tax preparation in a COVID-19 world.
