Alicia M. Lavasseur, 22, of Mendota, was charged with domestic battery at 12:37 a.m. Wednesday following multiple calls of an ongoing domestic dispute in the 900 block of Washington Street, Mendota police said.

Darius L. Earle, 24, of La Salle, was charged with driving while suspended at 6:36 p.m. Wednesday at Lincoln Avenue and 15th Street, Mendota police said.

Stephen G. Hart, 43, of Mendota, turned himself in to the Mendota Police Department on a La Salle County warrant for failure to appear (DUI) at 11:07 a.m. Thursday, Mendota police said.

Ernesto Quijas, 27, of Mendota, was picked up for a valid La Salle County warrant for failure to appear (DUI) at 5:46 p.m. Thursday in the 1100 block of 6th Street, Mendota police said.

Steven E. Treest, 61, of Ottawa, was charged with driving while suspended, no valid registration and no insurance Thursday at East Norris Drive and Porter Street, Ottawa police said.

Paige K. Perez, 28, of Spring Valley, was charged with retail theft at 6:53 p.m. Tuesday at Walmart, Peru police said.

Angel E. Gutierrez Ortiz, 29, homeless, was charged with criminal trespass at Applebee’s 5:20 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15 at Applebee’s and then, following an investigation, was charged with motor vehicle theft at 9:26 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 16 at the PADS shelter, Peru police said.

Jordan D. Leech, 31, of Wenona, was charged with driving while revoked at 10:25 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15 at Wenzel Road and Route 251, Peru police said.

Jacob B. Schaver, 20, of Amboy, was charged with retail theft (less than $50) at 5:05 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15 at Walmart, Peru police said.

Sebert J. Donelson, 53, of Granville, was picked up on an unspecified La Salle County warrant at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14 at Eakas, Peru police said.

Christopher A. Nelson, 44, of Peru, was charged with domestic battery at 2:46 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14 in his residence, Peru police said.

Nathan D. Thompson, 37, of La Salle, was charged with littering/illegal dumping (asphalt sealant in a wooded area) following an investigation into a Nov. 11 public complaint of illegal dumping in the area of State and Green streets, Peru police said in a report issued Thursday. The spill had to be mitigated by the Peru Fire Department and later cleaned up by Peru Public Works, police said.

Deana Mesarchik, 32, of Streator, was charged with driving while suspended at 9:19 p.m. Thursday at North Bloomington and East Northpoint streets, Streator police said.
