La Salle County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information on a hit-and-run crash at 9:10 a.m. Thursday at Route 23 and North 2350th Road in South Ottawa Township. There, Louise Manz, of Grand Ridge, slowed down for a vehicle and was struck from behind by a black Jeep struck that fled the scene.

Amber K. Mosier, 38, of Mendota, was picked up on two failure-to-appear warrants from DuPage County for dangerous drugs/driving while license suspended and for fraud/id theft at 10:12 p.m. Thursday, Mendota police said.

Emmanuel Romero Samano, 23, of Mendota, was charged with domestic battery and interference with the report of domestic violence at 5 a.m. Friday, Mendota police said.

Michael R. Furar, 28, of Mendota, was charged with DUI of alcohol, drugs, or intoxicating compounds, no taillights when required, two counts of battery and resisting a peace officer at 3:29 a.m. Saturday at Indiana Avenue and Springfield avenues, Mendota police said.
