Light Up Streator volunteers have taken their decorations to another level this fall — and now the group recently installed a new light-up scarecrow in front of the Streator fire station.
The scarecrow was created by the Streator High School welding class and student Brayden Abdo. The design of the scarecrow was put together by Mary Timm and the electric work by Gene Roberts. Volunteers from Light Up Streator installed the light bulbs.
