Nine cheers for Somonauk! Competitive cheerleaders heading back to state

The Somonauk High School competitive cheer team has earned its ninth trip to IHSA State, this year a virtual contest judged Saturday, March 13. The team, coached by Laci McConnaughay,  Rylie Olson and Sierra Peritore, includes (front to back): Kara Anderson, Jezlyn Dierdorf , Ashlyn Banning, Ellie Zaleski, MacKenzie Svatek , Regan Grandgeorge  and Sophie Diebold.
