Grundy County approves $375,000 in motor fuel tax funding for highway maintenance

The Grundy County Board approved $375,000 to be spent out of the county’s motor fuel tax funding for general maintenance for highways.

Highway Engineer Eric Gibson said these projects will take place over the summer, and include things like tar and chip, crack filling, shoulder stone, paving, striping and other sorts of smaller projects.

The bids are scheduled to be opened on Thursday, Feb. 19.
