The Morris Police Department said officers discovered vandalism at around midnight Friday morning in the 200 block of Liberty Street.

According to a Facebook post, several city-owned and business-owned flower pots and landscaping were damaged, and it was clearly deliberate.

Police are asking anyone with video cameras in the area to reach out by calling 815-942-2131, ext. 8.

Morris Public Works is already working on fixing the damage.
