Letter: Can’t count on mindset as a deterrent

To the Editor:

Just how many people believe that the mass murderer acted alone? Obviously without the assault weapon they are less of a threat of being a mass murderer.

Drunken drivers aren’t a threat of murder when they aren’t allowed behind the wheel. You can’t count on a person’s mindset as a deterrent if the threat is supplied with the means.
